General Manager, Comanche Spur Casino

Kellie McCarthy is a proud member of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma and serves as General Manager of Comanche Spur Casino, where her leadership has driven the property to achieve record-breaking milestones.

Under her direction, Comanche Spur Casino has become known for its personalized service, welcoming atmosphere and innovative strategies that set it apart in the gaming industry.

Since being appointed General Manager, McCarthy has enhanced operational efficiency, cultivated strong community partnerships and championed charitable initiatives that reflect Comanche Nation Entertainment’s commitment to giving back. She credits her success to a team-focused culture that makes both staff and patrons feel at home.

McCarthy’s connection to Comanche Spur Casino runs deep. She has been with the property since its early days, including the 2014 expansion that opened its current building in Elgin. Growing up, she visited the old Spur with her mother and grandmother, creating memories that inspire her work today.

Her journey in the gaming industry began in March 2005 at Comanche Nation Casino, where she started as a Change Cart Cashier. Within a month, she was promoted to Cage Lead and quickly rose through the ranks to Cage Supervisor and Shift Supervisor. In 2009, she joined Comanche Spur Casino, holding numerous leadership roles including Operations Supervisor, Manager on Duty, Players Club Manager, Main Bank Manager, Marketing Manager, and GM Assistant before being part of the team that helped transition the Spur into its current facility.

In 2014, McCarthy was promoted to Operations Manager at Comanche Red River Hotel Casino, where she also served as Interim General Manager and provided support as Acting GM at Comanche Star Casino when needed. Dedicated to developing future leaders, she served as a mentor in the Mentee Program, training tribal members for management roles, and chaired the Grievance Committee. In January 2018, she returned to Comanche Spur Casino, where her dedication and experience ultimately led her to her current position as General Manager.

McCarthy earned her Associate of Arts from the University of Phoenix in December 2024 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business with a focus on Operations Management.
Outside of work, McCarthy enjoys relaxing at home, spending time with family and friends, and traveling—especially taking road trips to explore new places and unwind.
